The Amatsu Clinic - Ancient Healing For Today's Physical Conditions
About Us

The Amatsu Clinic, Rickmansworth was founded in February 2010 by two experienced physical therapists - Jo Chapple and Jane Langston - who between them have over 25 years of experience in holistic therapy practice across a number of fields.

It is Jane and Jo's shared philosophy that led to their recent partnership and the establishment of The Amatsu Clinic  in Rickmansworth - where clients can experience the dynamic physical healing of Amatsu within a professional environment.

Jo Chapple qualified as an Amatsu Practitioner in 2008 under the tutorship of Jane Langston and runs a busy clinic in Northwood, Middlesex and Croxley Green, Hertfordshire and attends a clinic in South London.
She established the Reevehurst Clinic in Northwood during 2000 – developing it into a centre for complementary therapies and wellbeing for the local community.

Jo graduated as a fully qualified Reflexologist in 1995 and has completed certified training in Reflexology for Babies and Children, Reflexology for Cancer and Women’s Gynaecological problems and Fertility.   She is also a qualified practitioner of Hopi Ear Candling, Indian Head Massage and Reiki Healing (Level II) and, most recently, added NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) to her list of healing methods.

Jo works closely with Northwood based Acupuncturist, Debra Wagemaker, particularly on tailored Fertility programmes to help couples achieve their dream of parenthood.

Jo is a member of the Association of Reflexologists and the Complementary Therapists Association

Jane Langston has been a practitioner since 2000, and qualified as a Teacher of Amatsu just three years later in 2003.  Over this time she has  worked with Active Balance Training Ltd and Amatsu UK Ltd  and alongside the inspirational Dennis Bartram.  She has opened busy Amatsu clinics in Croxley Green, Ruislip and Watford.

Her teaching career has seen Jane teach in Hertfordshire, Hartlepool and Dublin, having been an assistant trainer since 2001.  She established The Amatsu Training School in 2005 and has a proven track record of teaching to a high standard with strong exam results.

Jane is a founder member of the Amatsu Therapy Association (ATA), and acts as an External Examiner for the Amatsu Therapy Ireland and is a Senior Practitioner with the Institute of Complementary and Natural Medicine.

Jane has a scientific approach to the teaching of the art of Amatsu, by virtue of her background as a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science, specialising in Haematology.
